Traveller the Sole New Virus Case in New South Wales, Australia

A returned traveller in hotel quarantine is the only new case of COVID-19, the disease caused by the CCP virus, in New South Wales (NSW) in the past 24 hours, health authorities say.

About 323 cases of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, commonly known as novel coronavirus, remain active in NSW.

Almost 16,200 tests were carried out in the full day to 8 p.m. on Friday, NSW Health said on Saturday.

The infected traveller took the states total cases to 3144.
