Ruth Langsford horrified by Eamonn Holmes’ flirty move

RUTH LONGFORD was left startled on This Morning yesterday when her husband and co-host Eamonn Holmes committed a cheeky gesture as the pair were getting ready to play Spin To Win.

Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes were back presenting This Morning yesterday as they took over from Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield. However, when the couple introduced the famous Spin To Win competition, Ruth was taken aback by her husbands cheeky gesture as he made his way from the sofas to the competition wheel.

The couple were standing by the This Morning sofas as they introduced the daily competition.

As Ruth finished speaking, the Spin To Win wheel could be seen descending from the ceiling in the usual fashion.

Eamonn was obviously in a race to make it over to the wheel and pushed past his wife.

As he did, Eamonn slapped his wife on the bum and Ruth was left startled by the cheeky move.

“Oh!” Ruth cried out as Eamonn continued past her. “What are you doing?”

“You were blocking me, you were in the way there,” he explained.

“I was just about to speak,” Ruth replied as Eamonn resumed position by the competition wheel.

“Yes, you do the next bit because Im about to do Spin To Win,” he remarked.

Ruth carried on informing viewers on what was coming up later in the show before joining her husband at the wheel.

This Morning viewers found the incident hilarious and took to Twitter to comment.

One said: “Honestly laughing so hard at @EamonnHolmes cheekily tapping @RuthieeL out the way. Highlight of my morning lol #ThisMorning.”

“Did Eamonn Holmes just slap Ruth Langford on her derrière!!!! LOL #EamonnHolmes #RuthLangsford #ThisMorning #hilarious,” another shared.

“@EamonnHolmes smacking Ruth on the a***!! #ThisMorning,” a third tweeted alongside laughing emojis.

Earlier in the show, Eamonn was left fuming when a Spin To Win caller mistook him for co-host Phillip.

When Jessica picked up the phone, she answered with the code word and was overjoyed at getting the chance to play.

As Jessica said “Bees knees” the couple cheered and Eamonn asked: “Who is that?”

“Are you kidding me?” she replied, adding: “I cant actually believe Im talking to Phil and Holly.”

“No, youre not talking to Phil and Holly – its better than that,” Eamonn replied.

“Cancel her, move on, next one,” the ITV presenter joked before spinning the wheel for Jessica.

After the mix-up was resolved, Eamonn and Ruth told the caller she had won £1,000.
