Holly Willoughby: Fresh-faced This Morning host joins pals for video call ‘miss my girls’

HOLLY WILLOUGHBY, who presents This Morning on ITV, admitted she has been missing her friends amid the coronavirus lockdown, according to her latest Instagram post.

This Morning star Holly Willoughby appeared relaxed and fresh-faced on a video call with her pals yesterday.

The 39-year-old television presenter took to Instagram last night to share a picture from their online chat and opened up about how much she is missing her friends.

Make-up free Holly told her 6.7 million followers: “Miss my girls.”

Like the rest of the UK, Holly Willoughby has been keeping in touch with her pals via video calls in between work and homeschooling her kids.

On Friday, she posted a picture which showed her online with showbiz friends Emma Bunton, Nicole Appleton, Shiarra Bell and Nicki Metz – a familiar sight for many.

In the image, mum-of-three Holly Willoughby looked radiant, wearing minimal make-up to let her natural beauty shine through.

She wore her hair swept away from her face in an elegant updo and sported a casual grey jumper.

The ITV star, who is married to Dan Baldwin and mum to Harry, 10, Belle, eight, and Chester, five, captioned the post: “Oh I missed these faces so much…”

“Apart and yet totally connected,” she added.

Tagging the famous faces into the post, Holly continued: “Miss my girls… @ruby1kid @shishib @emmaleebunton #nikidemetz.”

All Saints star Nicole took to the comments section to add: “Love my girls!!”

Spice Girl Emma Bunton also posted the same picture on her own Instagram account yesterday, in view of her 1.1 million followers.

Alongside the picture, the singer wrote: “Girls that do lunch still but in a different way! Love you all. @ruby1kid @shishib @hollywilloughby and #demetz #mygirls #zoom #needed.”

Instagram users and fans took to the comments section of Holly’s post to share their thoughts.

One user said: “Thank god for video messaging…. it keeps us all going in these unprecedented times.”

Noticing the friendship group boasted not one, but two former pop stars, another fan added: “The best girl group!!”

“Can I be in your girl gang,” a third follower added.
