Lucifers writers room are one sneaky little lot and have been keeping us guessing with the upcoming episode titles of season 5.

But the latest one has sent fans into overdrive after they have become convinced Lucifer (Tom Ellis) will finally be reunited with the love of his life, Chloe Decker (Lauren German).

The official writers room Twitter sent fans into overdrive with a tweet that said: Some say this day would never come… But here it is, 503 title clue. One word. 6 letters. D #LuciferSeason5 #Lucifer

While this could be Devils or Demons or Lucifers favourite word ever, Desire – most are getting excited because theyre hoping it means the return of DECKER.

Detective Decker was left broken hearted at the end of season four when she finally admitted that she was in love with her consulting partner just as he had to return to hell.

After grappling with his true identity (ie. the literal Devil), Chloe had accepted him as he was, and Lucifer in return admitted she was his first true love.

However their moment of happiness couldnt last, with the demons from the Underworld rising to Earth after their leader went missing.

As a result, Lucifer saw no choice but to return to his throne in Hell…but was far from happy about it.

Other ideas could be Douche – as in Detective Dan Douche Espinoza (Kevin Alejandro) who is yet to discover Lucifers real identity, and speaking to Metro.co.uk about what would happen when he does, Kevin teased his character could come apart at the seams.

So far we know the names of the first two episodes thanks to the team slowly revealing the title pages of each script.

Episode one will be named Really Sad Devil Guy – which is appropriate seeing as hes been forced back down to look over Hell despite just admitting his love for Decker.

In the second, Lucifer! Lucifer! Lucifer!, it seems that someone is, at the very least, going to call him out, but that means nothing really when he can conjure up pretty much anything he wants.

The upcoming fifth season will be the shows last, and will be split into two parts.

After fan demand for a season six, they decided to extend the stay for eight more episodes – with the final outing of the series running for 16 episodes Read More – Source
