A disgusting video has emerged of a giant rat wriggling his way out of a bag of bread at a petrol station cafe.

The animal was allegedly filmed at the Applegreen Service Station in Ballyfermot, Dublin.

The footage, which is being widely shared on social media, shows two loaves of bread sitting on a counter top underneath a menu.

Suddenly, the bag of brown bread from Irish brand Brennans begins to shake.
