Euro qualifier routs for France, Germany

Germany and France have scored 12 goals between them in dominant Euro 2020 qualifying victories over Estonia and Andorra respectively.

World champions France returned to the top of Group H with a 4-0 win in Andorra.

Kylian Mbappe put France ahead in the 11th minute, with Wissam Ben Yedder adding a second on the half-hour mark.

Florian Thauvin made it 3-0 just before half-time and centre-back Kurt Zouma wrapped up a comfortable win on the hour.

Defender Ragnar Sigurdsson scored twice as Iceland beat Turkey 2-1 in Reykjavik, to lift them level on points with Les Bleus and their vanquished visitors after four games.

Elsewhere, Albania beat Moldova 2-0.

Paddy McNair's late goal gave Northern Ireland a 1-0 win in Belarus to maintain their 100 per cent start from four matches at the top of Group C.

They are three points ahead of Germany, who hammered Estonia 8-0 in Mainz to make it three wins from as many qualifiers.

Marco Reus, Serge Gnabry and Leon Goretzka were all on target in the opening 20 minutes.

Ilkay Gundogan made it 4-0 from the penalty spot, with Reus adding another before the break.

Gnabry grabbed another just after the hour, before substitute Timo Werner and Leroy Sane scored.

In Group I, Romelu Lukaku scored twice as leaders Belgium beat Scotland 3-0 in Brussels.

The forward headed in from close range just before half-time and added another in the 57th minute before Kevin de Bruyne drilled home a low shot from the edge of the box in stoppage time.

Aleksei Ionov's goal in the 38th minute proved enough to give Russia a 1-0 win over Cyprus while Kazakhstan thrashed San Marino 5-0.
