Its certainly been an eventful holiday for former Coronation Street star Chris Quinten and his new fiancee Robyn Delabarre. Just hours after the actor turned adult entertainment club manager proposed to his 21-year-old employee on her birthday, Robyn collapsed from sun stroke and had to be put on a drip in hospital to recover.

61-year-old Chris played Brian Tilsley in the soap before leaving the acting industry and becoming a strip club manager. He has been dating Robyn for 7 months and the pair recently headed to Mykonos to celebrate her birthday.

During the holiday, Robyn shared updates of their time together, including video footage of Chris getting down on one knee and proposing in front of her loved ones before then exposing his own nipples.

But hours after the engagement was made official, Robyn had to go to hospital and the pair will have to pay £500 costs for her treatment.

She wrote on her Facebook account: Nice relaxing day with our Hot tub and view after a horrible trip to a&e last night and me ended up on a drip that cost £500. Never a dull moment lucky he held my hand and cuddled up in the hospital bed with me always looking after me. (sic)

A friend asked how she was now, to which she responded that she was all okay now.

Sharing the video of the proposal earlier in the week, Robyn also enthused: My husband to be !
