Alan Carr was given the task of following the late Bruce Forsyth on Channel 4’s The Price Is Right reboot, and it looks like he’s pulled it off.
Complete with tacky sets, ‘come on down’ shouts and hysterical audience members, the reboot felt like a familiar throwback remix of the classic game show.
Alan previously admitted how he hopes he’s done Bruce Forsyth proud with his revival, saying how the beloved presenter died just after he filmed the show.
‘He got the tone just right,’ Alan said. ‘He died just after I made the show – I’d have liked him to have seen it, I hope I did him proud.’
It seems like he more than lived up to his legacy, with many viewers praising his stint.
#PriceisRight is actually alright – it’s how I remember it & I guess Alan Carr works as host – not Sir Bruce but he does a pretty good job

Bring on the series!
Get to work, Channel 4.
It isn’t the only retro game show set to be revived, with The Generation Game also being revamped with Mel & Sue at the helm.
You can catch the Price Is Right reboot on Channel 4 On Demand.
