It really is a Christmas miracle: Great British Bake Off favourites Mary Berry, Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins came together on our screens once again on Christmas Eve.
The Bake Off trio were reunited for festive BBC programme Mary, Mel and Sue’s Big Christmas Thank You, in which they surprised a community centre in Rhondda Valley, Wales, with a celebratory Christmas party.
The show had many feeling emotional about the great work put in by mum-of-three Buffy and her team at the Canolfan Pentre centre after the town experienced a run of business closures, from their post office to their school to their library.
And while Mel, Sue, Mary and their team helped to transform the run-down community centre, and assisted Buffy and co in hosting a Christmas dinner for the locals, people were loving seeing the BBC trio back together again, finally.
How good is it to see Mary, Mel and Sue reunited on your tv tho

This is the first time the three have been back together on television since leaving The Great British Bake Off after it moved from BBC One to Channel 4.
The trio stayed loyal to the Beeb, whilst fellow baking professional Paul Hollywood jumped ship with new hosts Sandy Toksvig and Noel Fielding, and Mezza Bezza replacement Prue Leith to the rival channel.
And while we all respect their choice the loss is real when it comes to these three, so it’s no surprise that they went down as a real treat with viewers. It’s like all our Christmases had come at once!
