If you never imagined Freddie Flintoff as a bit of a musical showman, then this could be the programme to change your mind.
Because the cricketer’s putting his best foot – not to mention voice – forward as he takes to the stage as the co-host of ITV’s festive special All Star Musicals, which is due to air on Christmas Eve.
And judging from this clip, he’s not going to get away without showing off his vocal talents either.
Freddie, we approve.
But there’s a whole lot more to All Star Musicals than simply watching him strut his stuff – as Freddie teams up with musical theatre legend Michael Crawford to co-host the show – because he won’t be the only one going all theatrical.
In fact seven other celebs – Rebecca Front, Nicky Campbell, Denise Lewis OBE, Sir Tony Robinson, Michael Parr, Sally Phillips and Lucy Fallon – will be taking to the stage at the London Palladium to show us what they can do.
In doing so, they’ll be competing for the title of All Star Musicals champion (as voted for by the audience there) – and we don’t know about you but we can’t wait to see their efforts, especially if they’re anything like Freddie’s.
All Star Musicals airs on ITV on Christmas Eve at 6.40pm.
