Whether or not BTS is releasing a repackaged version of their latest album, Love Yourself: Tear, remains to be seen.
And bosses from the groups management team arent shedding any light on the matter, either.
As the seven-piece gear up for their world tour, which kicks off in August, fan theories emerged they were also preparing to release a repackaged version of their latest collection of bangers.
However, Big Hit Entertainment – the company behind the boys – initially did little to confirm or deny.
Reps said: It is currently difficult to reveal specific details regarding a repackaged album.
That…really tells us…nothing.
However, according to AllKPop.com, reps counteracted their original statement with: There is nothing confirmed regarding BTS repackaged album activities.
Okay, thats a little more specific, but its still not saying no…right?
It comes after news outlet News1 reported today that BTS were in the final stages of preparation for the new album.
The artists will then embark on their Love Yourself tour which kicks off in Seoul on 25 August before they travel their hits to the United States and Europe.
It wouldnt be too crazy to repackage their massively successful album, after it landed in the top 10 best-selling physical albums in the US for the first half of 2018.
Nielsen Music has released its Mid-Year Report this week, which details data on music sales in the US.
According to Nielsen Music, BTS Love Yourself: Tear sold 132,000 copies in the first half of the year to place ninth in the top 10 physical albums list.
The album was released on 18 May and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200, a first for a K-pop act, and No. 10 on the Hot 100 chart.
In South Korea, Love Yourself: Tear has sold 1.66 million copies, according to the Gaon Music Chart.
