True Blood fans have something to celebrate as Anna Paquin and husband Stephen Moyer are set to work together again on a new TV show.
The couple – who tied the knot back in 2010 – starred alongside each other in the vampire series, which ended in 2014.
And the pair will be working together on new show Flack, in which the actress will be playing an American Public Relations exec, living in London.
Anna and Stephen – parents to five-year-old twins Charlie and Poppy – will be executively producing the series together.
Discussing their new project, the X-Men star explained: ‘My character, Robyn, exists in a world where there are no moral absolutes and humour is used as a sharply executed defence mechanism to maintain the illusion of perpetual control.
‘Oliver Lansley has written six of the best scripts I’ve ever read. He walks that fine line between intense character-driven drama and exceptionally intelligent humour.
‘I am incredibly excited about tackling the creative complexities of Flack as an actress and for my company CASM’s collaboration with Pop.’
While it has not been announced whether Stephen will be making an on-screen appearance in the upcoming show, he let slip on Twitter that he is ‘very excited’ about the project.
The 48-year-old met Anna while they shot the pilot for True Blood, in 2007.
And, speaking in a previous interview, the actor – who played as Bill Compton in the HBO show – revealed knew he wanted to marry his co-star very early into their working relationship.
‘By day three or four, oh this is going to sound so syrupy, but I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her,’ he said.
Stephen also admitted there was one part of filming with his wife, starring as Sookie Stackhouse, that he really enjoyed – sex scenes.
‘You’re not supposed to say that you enjoy doing sex scenes, you’re supposed to say, “Oh it’s really difficult, you know, with the lighting and the cameramen and the boom operators are all watching”,’ he said.
‘But I never had that. I just like doing them.’
