Tia Latham has become the first to leave new ITV2 show Survival Of The Fittest after the boys chose Tia over the other girls to leave the savanna.
The girls team was on the chopping block after failing the first challenge on Monday’s launch show, but with the public vote placing Tia in the bottom three with Mariam and Georgie, the boys decided she was their biggest threat to losing the competition.
After leaving the show, Tia admitted that she had a few battle wounds from her time on the show but that she will never regret her appearance.
‘After a while you forget that the cameras are there and you start settling in. I think on the first morning I woke up, I farted. I really settled in! All the girls were cracking up, it was hilarious! she said.
Tia bonded with Jenny on the first night, revealing that she had grown up as a boy but discovered as a teenager that she had the xx chromosome, and she hopes that she can leave a legacy that shows the world ‘that there are people like me out there and we are normal, we look normal, we interact normally, people interact normally with you and there is nothing to fear and it is what it is’
‘We are all human.’
