We all know that Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby are given to getting the giggles – and this festive video is no exception.
Because ahead of the start of Dancing On Ice in early January, the pair really wanted to wish us a merry Christmas – except, as you can see from this clip, it didn’t go quite according to plan.
Perhaps it was the fact both seemed to be decked out in tinself, or those comedy Christmas glasses of Phillip’s which caused a distraction.
Or maybe it was the fact that neither of them seemed capable of launching into the song at the same time that set them off.
Then again it could have been the bit where Phillip started shouting the song instead of singing it – which, combined with the daft outfit only served to further their hysteria.
Oh you guys.
The good news is that they did eventually get it together to deliver a resounding chorus of We Wish You A Merry Christmas – with the results posted on the Dancing On Ice Twitter page to remind us all that they’ll be back fronting the new series.
And actually it was a whole lot less painful to the ears than Phillip Schofield’s other festive video, in which he tried to see off a particularly persistent alarm.
The skating show kicks off on ITV on January 7 2018.
